We Offer a recognised international curriculum based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for children from before birth to the age of four focussing on the care, developmental and learning needs of babies, toddlers and young children.
In Creative Kids, as elsewhere in the world, there is an increasing need to value and support the development and learning of children in the early years. Creative Kids has shown that the first 1000 days (pre-birth, early and late infancy) of life are highly sensitive to environmental effects. Evidence from experience in our 21 years of operation shows that the early years are building blocks for health, human capacity, personal and social wellbeing.
A key feature that makes our ECD programme different from others is a holistic ECD vision which pays attention to:
The first 1000 days which are the windows of opportunities for interventions up to the first two years of life after birth followed by a dedicated renowned and accredited programme focuses upon the child from 6 months through to the time that she enters Grade 1.
Our Curriculum draws on the values ensued in Creative Kids, the National Early Learning Standards (NELDS) the principles set out in existing legislation, policies and plans, based on review of South African and global curricula for six months to six years and findings on international literature of ECD, global imperatives for ECD and voices from the ECD field.
